Ministry In Laconia Bike Week 2013

// June 17th, 2013 // No Comments » // Blog, Events, News

Laconia Bike Week started out rainy and cool, by the end of the week, it was warm and sunny. Thousands of bikers came out to enjoy riding their bikes, to buy a new t-shirt, and to just have fun. Keith and I were able to minister to some by giving a cool cup of water or a cup coffee to those who where thirsty. We offered a Free “Road Edition of The Book of Hope” and a listening ear.IMG_7349

Also, come out and get to know other Honorbound members from different areas. The meat will be provided at no cost, donations would be appreciated to help us defray the cost. (10 of 17)Friday, Keith and I leave to go to the 71st Sturgis Bike Rally, 2000 miles one way. While there, we will be joining with other christian bikers to minister to the lost and hurting. Jesus was always where the masses were, so that is what we strive to do as well. The Sturgis S. D. Rally and Races is one of the largest Motorcycle Events held anywhere in the world. With estimates in the 550,000 to 700,00 range, Sturgis is still considered the largest Motorcycle Rally in the nation by most. Please remember to keep us in prayer, we will be traveling on our bikes to and from the Rally. Please keep us in prayer for good health, safety on the roads, good weather, provision and a harvest of souls!

THAT’s HOW WE ROLL!

// September 5th, 2010 // No Comments » // Blog, News

We have just returned from a long ministry trip, this past month alone was 5,000 miles on the bikes. We have been to The Outer Banks Bike Rally, Chicago, Run For The Wall, Americade, Laconia Motorcycle Rally, Franklin, NC, and Sturgis, SD. We have used several different types of outreach ministry to reach bikers for Christ. We hold Free Bike Washes, we serve Free Coffee and Water, and in Sturgis, we helped with a Free Gospel Concert, Gospel Message and Free Harley give away. The Lord has been so faithful, lives have been touched, saved, delivered and healed. It is worth every mile we ride, through rain, heat, cold or whatever the miles may hold. Sometimes the miles get weary, but with every mile there is a new opportunity, a new person that the Lord has given us the opportunity to show Christ. Whether it’s by giving a dog tag with Psalms 91 printed on it, to the Veteran or active duty soldier, or the new Book of Hope Road Edition we use to share the Gospel message. It is with antici-pation and hope that we ride on.
