Honorbound Motorcycle Ministry!

Honorbound Motorcycle Ministry!

Tomorrow morning around 7 AM Pacific time, 1,200 riders will be leaving Ontario, Ca on the first leg of The Run For The Wall. The 10-day, 2,600-mile ride aims to promote healing among veterans and their families and friends, to call for an accounting of all prisoners of war and those missing in action, to honor the memory of those killed in action in all wars and to support military personnel all over the world.The route includes stops at VA medical centers, veterans’ memorials, Veterans of Foreign Wars’ posts, community centers and schools.

The ride is open to everyone and many of the participants are active or retired military.

Finally, about 2,500 riders will arrive in DC before Memorial Day and convene at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial to lay a wreathe.

Chaplain Keith Turcotte, Chaplain R. Duane Gryder and Head Chaplain Curtis Hubbell, along with several other Chaplains will be the Chaplain Corps for The Run For The Wall. They are there to offer Spiritual support and help assist those who break down or have accidents along the way. Sometimes they are needed to be available to just be a listing ear to those that are hurting and seeking healing.

Please remember to keep the Chaplains and everyone that is making the ride across country in your prayers! Pray for safety, and healing for each rider on the run.

Our Anniversary ! 34 Years!

// April 18th, 2014 // No Comments » // Events, News

34 years ago, I married the man that God created for me! As a young girl, God placed on my heart to pray for the person that I would one day marry. Not just bless him Lord, but keep him, preserve him, protect him from people that want to use him, guide his foot steps, send the right people into his life that would love him and help him. And God Did! I am a BLESSED women, what a ride our life has been! Who Knew I’d be riding Harley’s all of the country, telling bikers that Jesus is the answer they’re looking for! I Can’t wait to see what the future holds! I love you so much!

I have to express thankfulness for my wife, of 34 yrs. today. She lived in the same house her whole life, until she married me. She went with me to serve in the U.S. Army at Fort Bragg, N.C. She has helped me do Childrens ministry, youth ministry, pastoral ministry, motorcycle ministry, etc….. She ran a Day Care and preschool for about 15 yrs. She can do almost anything, including be the best wife, mother and grandmother you can imagine. Had she known what she was getting into when she married me, she may have run the other way. I thank God and Lynn’s parents for preparing a life partner that would walk with me through every high and low place that this life has brought us to and through. I love you honey, and look forward to the next season of life together.

End of Biketoberfest 2013

// October 21st, 2013 // No Comments » // Blog, Events, News, Newsletters

IMG_7884We have had an amazing outreach at our annual Free Bike Wash, Biketoberfest 2013, Daytona Beach, Fl. Even though the numbers were down, God sent people everyday that needed a touch from him. On Friday, after a slow day, a local man on an older Suzuki Bandit stopped by. He said, can I ask you a question? Why do you wash bikes for free. Why do you give away things for free? We were able to share with him that because Jesus died on the cross for us, FOR FREE, so that we could have eternal life, we want to bless others and not expect anything in return. He was so receptive and told us, that because of what we shared with him, he had change his plan for the day. He had intended to do some really bad things. So thankful for divine appointments!

// June 17th, 2013 // No Comments » // Blog, Events, News

Laconia Bike Week started out rainy and cool, by the end of the week, it was warm and sunny. Thousands of bikers came out to enjoy riding their bikes, to buy a new t-shirt, and to just have fun. Keith and I were able to minister to some by giving a cool cup of water or a cup coffee to those who where thirsty. We offered a Free “Road Edition of The Book of Hope” and a listening ear.IMG_7349
